System font stacks

System fonts have become really great. Sometimes, all you need to ship something is a good looking font. Whether it is the same on all devices isn’t always the most important thing.

Mac users will get familiar Mac fonts from the San Fransisco family. Windows users from Segoe UI, and linux users will get the first one in the stack that came with their desktop enviroment.

These system fonts are often very well drawn and have a range of thicknesses from the meagre 100s all the way up to the bulging 900s.

There’s also a monospace system font stack.
