Cooking using whole ingredients
Buying ever more ultra processed food in guise of being sustainable or healthy is usually neither sustainable nor particularly healthy.
It ignores and masks a much deeper problem.
Cooking using whole ingredients can be both healty and sustainable.
It does real good to your body and mind, as well as the environment.
Start cooking something simple.
And remember that although processed, things in a tin are pretty good, convenient and nutritious. And not least: available out of season.
Flour, milk, cheese, tinned food etc are also processed to some degree. But they are a far cry from energy bars and protein shakes.
